CDL SAS respects and protects your personal data.
The purpose of this document is to provide you with comprehensive practical information about how CDL SAS collects and processes personal data via our website. CDL SAS, as the data controller, processor and storage manager, undertakes to comply with the provisions of the GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of personal data).

1 – Definition

2 – Principles of the Data Protection Regulation

Three conditions must be met in order for this legislation to apply:


• Inclusion of information about a natural person, such as their name, address, date of birth, ID number, phone number, identifier, etc.
• Processing of that information in the form of its collection, use, recording, etc.
• Appearing in computer files (databases, Excel spreadsheets, etc.) or paper files.

3 – Information we collect

CDL SAS adheres to the obligations stemming from the French Data Protection Act No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978, as amended on 6 August 2004, as well as from the European General Data Protection Regulation.

On our personal data protection forms, we indicate which data are or are not required. Any refusal to communicate required information will make it impossible to submit or process the request.

A – Purposes

The main purposes of CDL SAS’s personal data collection via our website can be summarized as follows:
• So you can contact us by form and establish a monitored business relationship for a specific need
• So we can respond to you by telephone, email and/or post, as per the most appropriate method

B – Data storage period

The personal data we collect on our website will only be stored for the period which is strictly necessary in view of the purposes stated above. That timeframe is indicated at each data collection point and on each online form. For our contact forms: three years after the last business contact between CDL SAS and the data subject.

The personal data we collect on our website are exclusively reserved for use by CDL SAS.

CDL SAS reserves the right to transmit personal data in order to satisfy our legal obligations, namely if we are required to do so by court order. CDL SAS hereby undertakes to refrain from transferring your data outside the European Union. In addition, if CDL SAS makes use of external data processors, they will have been chosen for the fact that they offer sufficient security guarantees.

Pursuant to Articles 38 to 40-1 of the French Data Protection Act No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978, as amended, you have the right to access, rectify and delete your data and to object to their processing on legitimate grounds. 5 – Links to other websites

The fact that we allow our users to access other websites via hyperlinks on our website does not make us responsible for those other sites’ data practices.

6 – Automatic cookie collection

A – Google Analytics and your privacy

This website uses a web analytics service provided by Google Inc (“Google”).
